Combiventilation for broilers as a standard with a temperate climate
The climate is often defining the application of the ventilation system for broilers. In warm areas length- or tunnelventilation is applied, often in combination with pad cooling. In moderate climate zones poultry farmers apply combiventilation as a standard. For minimum ventilation, tube mounting fans are mounted in the roof; in case higher air volumes are necessary, galvanised box fans are switched on at the front of the livestock house. At the West-European livestock house being under construction, the Multifan tube mounting fans and Multifan 130 fans are applied for broilers.
